Character Introduction: Shirayuki is the main female protagonist in the Akagami no Shirayukihime manga and anime series. She was born in the mountains and raised by her grandparents in Tanbarun. She is a strong willed and joyful character. After leaving her village in an act of rebellion of the crown prince and meeting Zen she went to live in Clarines. Since meeting Zen she has stood by his side and has promised to help him in the future. She earned a job as a Court Herbalist within the Kingdom and is now working inside the Palace.
